“Anpanman” by BTS

‘Anpanman’ is an inspirational song about how one does not need to have amazing powers to make a difference in the world. The main music video is simple. It showcases BTS singing and dancing in a heavenly setting. However, the lyrics are what make the song. They are about this Japanese manga character called Anpanman who is the weakest hero of them all. He has an “Anpan” for a head. This is a type of sweet bread roll filled with red bean paste. He usually gives parts of his head to hungry people, especially children. He has no other superpower. However, the character has achieved incredible fame in Japan.

This influenced BTS to write this song. The underlying message is powerful. BTS are saying that one can make a difference in their own unique ways. One does not have to be Batman or Superman to do this. Small acts of kindness and compassion go a long way in making the world a better place.

In all, ‘Anpanman’ is a lovely message about how everyone’s unique quirks matter. It will certainly be a force for good in encouraging fans and casual listeners alike.
