“Atmosphere” by Kaskade

Kaskade’s “Atmosphere” is honestly not the easiest song to understand comprehensively. What is clear is that the vocalist has developed into the type of person who really relishes his own company, finding upliftment and hope by interacting with himself.

You can view the lyrics, alternate interprations and sheet music for Kaskade's Atmosphere at Lyrics.org.

But the “atmosphere” mentioned in the title, with the lyrics being based on an astronomical motif, ultimately points to his resolution to “keep clear” of the addressee. So this would imply that unlike himself, said individual is someone who is pessimistic, to the point of being able to affect others or in very least the vocalist with such a malady also. So with all of that in mind, what is fundamentally being put forth is that Kaskade is not the type to allow others to steal his joy.
