“Black Vietnam” by Kanye West (ft. Lupe Fiasco)
The origin of Kanye West’s “Black Vietnam” dates back to his 2013 album “Yeezus”. “Black Vietnam”, in conjunction with Lupe Fiasco, was conceptualized as one of the songs to be featured on the project. However, at the time, the idea didn’t take hold.
Then in 2014 Lupe was on the verge of dropping a collaborative album alongside a producer called Symbolyc One. aid project was also entitled “Black Vietnam”. However, it too never came into fruition.
Then fast-forward to 2020 and Kanye is about to come out with his tenth-studio album, “God’s Country”. And he has reportedly re-enlisted Lupe Fiasco to finish the track so that it can be featured on this project.
