“Dorothea” by Taylor Swift

On “Dorothea”, Taylor Swift takes on the role of a male who is addressing his old flame.  And to make a long story short, the said lady, Dorothea, left behind her small-town origins some time ago. She left her hometown in the pursuit of the dream of becoming a Hollywood celebrity. And she was in fact successful at that endeavor. So now her ex is reaching out to her in a sentimental sort of way. And what he is telling her is that even though she has seemingly changed and perhaps even forgot about her past, he will always love her. And as such if she ever does tire of the false relationships which define Hollywood, she can always return home to him.
