Foo Fighters
The rock band Foo Fighters was formed in the United States in 1994. The group was initially started as an individual project. It was established in Seattle, Washington by musician Dave Grohl, who formerly worked as a drummer for the rock ensemble Nirvana.

The Foo Fighters’ outstanding contribution to music has landed them many notable accolades. They claimed their first Grammys in 2001, when their third studio album won the prize for “Best Rock Album”. At the same event, the group received the “Best Music Video” award for the visuals to their song “Learn to Fly”.
Since their debut, the group has gone on to win many more Grammy Awards, with 2012 being one of their most successful years. That year, they won a total of five awards out of six nominations.
