“For the Night” by Pop Smoke (ft. Lil Baby & DaBaby)
The main theme of “For the Night” centers on the rappers detailing their romantic escapades. And basically, the way Pop Smoke puts it, the title would allude to the idea that he has the tendency to be intimate with women but not necessarily commit to them. In other words, he may be with a lady “for the night”, i.e. a single evening, only. And DaBaby also raps about a similar subject, i.e. his intimate interactions with women. Meanwhile Lil Baby uses his verse primarily to brag about his success.
Those already familiar with these artists know that Lil Baby and DaBaby are regular collaborators. However, “For the Night” marks the first time either of them have collaborated with Pop Smoke.
