Celine Dion greatly appreciates her mother’s efforts of first giving birth to her, and training her to become a full grown woman. She realizes that her mother’s love is special and mothers generally have unconditional love towards their children. She is however saddened by the fact that such a good person, will one day die and leave the earth. She imagines the pain and heartbreak she will feel when this finally happens and wants to let her mother know ahead of time that she is grateful for all she has done for her.

Although the thought of her mother passing away makes her sad, she is comforted by the knowledge that the love she gave will still live on. She further promises to return the favor by always being around for her mother while she’s alive, providing all her needs and loving her through eternity.
