“She Wants My Money” by Dominic Fike
The lyrics to Dominic Fike’s “She Wants My Money” are quite ambiguous. But based on the title we know that Dominic is addressing a female. And the implication is that she would be a romantic interest. Basically, what he appears to be telling her is that he is not going to entertain her if her primary preoccupation in terms of their relationship is depriving him of funds.
Indeed he would like to retain his income as much as possible, as he has his own issues to attend to. So his final conclusion concerning the matter is that this is a lady he “got to get away from”.

This is the second track on the track listing of Fike’s first major label project, “Don’t Forget About Me, Demos”. Said project (which is actually an EP) was released by Columbia Records on 16th October, 2018. And since this song wasn’t a single, it shares the same release date as the above-mentioned EP (which it appears on).
Dominic teamed up with songwriter Julian Cruz to write “She Wants My Money”. However, he exclusively produced it. In addition to being the song’s co-writer and sole producer, Dominic also played the bass, guitar and drums on it.
There is another song on “Don’t Forget About Me, Demos” which shares the same topic/theme as this one. And this song goes by the title “Falling Asleep“.
