“Tell Me U Luv Me” by Juice WRLD & Trippie Redd

The title of the this song alludes to the idea of the rappers wanting affirmation from their romantic partners that the latter actually are committed to their relationships. In Juice WRLD’s case, he comes off as if his girlfriend better be committed to him – or else.  However, Trippie Redd takes a more-sensitive approach and basically depicts himself as someone who is emotionally vulnerable to his lady.

But at the end of the day, despite their different approaches, the rappers’ narratives read fundamentally the same. And that is they both seem a bit nervous that their respective significant others may bounce. So they want to be assured by these ladies that ‘everything is going to be okay’ and basically that they will never leave them.
